“I know it’s not always ‘love and light’,
but is it supposed to be this hard??”
You collapse into bed each night, totally drained by all this mundane bullshit—work, people, health, money—and no amount of “om mani padme hum” seems enough to keep you out of it.
You know the power of your Light, but when you’re not on the meditation cushion or yoga mat, that flame is totally smothered by the burdens of modern earthly life.
The chaos of the world—political conflict, climate change, social upheaval—it’s all so exhausting. You just want to retreat from it all, but then you feel guilty for not doing more to help.
All you want is some of this ‘inner peace’ Dispenza keeps on about.
So you focus and you meditate until your butt is numb and your back aches and if you hear one more “just let it go,” you’re pretty sure you’re gonna throw a crystal pyramid at Eckhart Tolle’s stupid face.
Whoops, did I say that out loud? Uhm… right. Yes. Ok. Breathe. Inhale. Pause. Exhale. Let it g—
fuuuuuuarrrghhhh!!!!
Uh, well… that didn’t work.
So you try more extreme measures—holistic workshops, wellness retreats, even psychedelics—desperate for any kind of lasting peace.
And sure, they shift your state (for a while), but how are you supposed to “find your bliss” when lunches need packing and taxes need filing and oh my god did the cat seriously just barf on my bed?
What if the path to inner peace isn’t detachment but expression?
What if equanimity really means building the capacity to be with the fullness of your experience – feelings and all – while also maintaining connection to your grounded being?
Welcome to Soul Vision!
My name is Mercedes Jayne,
Embodied Wisdom Guide
and Soul Whisperer
I work with spiritual seekers who struggle with the harshness of the world, helping them find gentler ways to be with the fullness of their human experience, without numbing out or escaping reality.
Each of us is born with an Embodied Wisdom Keeper whose very nature is calm, caring, and supportive.
But early childhood conditions can disrupt our core needs for safety and self-expression, leaving us disconnected from our true essence.
To ease this pain, many of us turned to substances or behaviours—including obsessive meditation, breathwork, and yoga—that help us in the moment, but may cause more harm than good in the long run.
Some of us find our way to spirituality as a way to heal and recover from these addictive processes; others are guided by a deep soul calling to something profound and meaningful; and some of us stumble into it when a buddy offers us mushrooms at a festival and next thing we know, we’re buying crystals and doing tarot readings…..
I digress.
Not all of life’s problems can be solved by just getting more spiritual.
While our spiritual practices can support a strong connection to the Divine, their benefits don’t necessarily follow us into the mundane unless we also build our physical capacity for more life force energy.
So besides making life on Earth a little more tolerable… a regulated nervous system, a somatic self-awareness practice, and meaningful intimate relationships can actually support an even deeper spiritual connection.

If you want to try out what I’m offering, I invite you to join me for my Embodied Wisdom Intro Package.
This package is five free 30-minute sessions to “try before you buy”.
I promise I won’t pressure you to buy anything!
It’s all about finding whether it’s a good fit for both of us.
What does working with me look like?
Besides intuitive guidance, the principal modalities I use are:
- Polyvagal Tuning: A regulated nervous system increases your capacity to contain and express more life force energy.
- Focusing: Connect with your inner “felt sense” as a subtle, pre-verbal awareness of your body’s innate knowing.
- Mindful Relating: Bring presence and honesty into connection, so you can invite your whole self into your closest relationships.
We go slow to go fast.
My approach is deliberately patient and gentle. I believe high intensity growth work is harder to integrate, leads to “healing burnout,” and ultimately takes longer to achieve the same results.
Healing retreats, plant medicine, and immersive workshops definitely have their place—they can jump start the healing process and bring forward huge breakthroughs.
And, having attended dozens of holistic retreats and a few plant medicine ceremonies, I long ago realized it was the slow and gentle processes, guided over weeks and months outside of these programs that had the most profound and lasting impact on my own healing.
When you slow down and nurture your system with patience and caring, you create space for your embodied wisdom to organically emerge, allowing your higher self to guide the process in a way that’s exactly right, just for you.
Always trust yourself.
Only you can know
what you truly need.
The Earth is undergoing a profound recalibration, and so are we.
The Divine Feminine is re-emerging in all her power and chaos, and the Divine Masculine is rebalancing its expression of strength and protection.
Outwardly, this deep transformation manifests as destruction and disorder. If your mind and body are not aligned with the wisdom of your higher self, this upheaval can be reflected internally as despair and helplessness.
We’re at a pivotal moment.
For those here to help, this is a critical time to bring higher vibrational gifts that support the healing and evolution of humanity.
For those here to be helped, this period is a tremendous opportunity to transcend old paradigms and heal the wounds of past lives.
Only you can know what you’re meant to do here.
If you’re stuck in your journey and you sense that deeper spiritual practice isn’t what you need right now, it’s possible my integrative embodiment offerings may support your healing.
And, only you can decide what the next step in your journey should be. My blessing is that you choose the path that’s right for you; maybe it’s working with me, maybe now or maybe later; and maybe it’s working with someone else.
Embody your wholeness.
I orient from a profound belief that you are already whole, already complete, already enough; and, that your wholeness includes your longing for more safety, connection, and fullness in your life.

The deepest transformations
happen through connection
While there are many paths to fuller living, having a guide who’s already travelled this journey can make all the difference.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without those who helped me feel safe and integrated in my body and mind. They helped me realize my wholeness, not just conceptually but experientially.
My deepest gratitude goes out to my teachers and mentors—the lineage holders who walked their paths before me so I could stand on their shoulders to guide others.
